Project Introduction
The Yuxian Expressway is a PPP project won by a consortium of 31 central and state-owned enterprises led by the Chongqing Yuxian Expressway Group, including China Railway Construction, China Railway, and China Communications Construction. It is one of the projects under Chongqing's three-year transportation construction plan. The project has a total length of approximately 285 kilometers, passing through five districts and counties: Banan, Nanchuan, Pengshui, Youyang, and Wulong. It consists of three sub-projects: Banan to Pengshui, Pengshui to Youyang, and Wulong to Daozhen (Chongqing section). The investment is 64.6 billion yuan, construction started in 2020, and the construction period is 4-6 years.
