The Jiaoni Mountain Tunnel is a crucial part of the Lixian Railway, located in Xiaozhongdian Town, Shangri-La City, Yunnan Province. It is 7055 meters long. This tunnel is a control project for the entire Lixian Railway. The construction site is located on the southeastern edge of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and the middle section of the Hengduan Mountains. The tunnel entrances are adjacent to the Chongjiang River, with steep cliffs on both sides, resulting in challenging construction conditions.
